Jewish Echo 2024: Solidarity and its Limits

13. June 2024

The latest edition of the “Jewish Echo” is dominated by the Hamas attack on Israel and its societal and political consequences. With the topic “Solidarity and its Limits”, intensive efforts were made to capture the complexity of the issue as a means to offering a balanced perspective.

Headed by editor-in-chief Christian Schüller, a team of renowned experts sheds light on numerous facets of the conflict and its subtle ramifications, right down to the private day-to-day lives of so many. The topics addressed include social media as a “combat zone” as well as the cohabitation of Jewish and Muslim French citizens, analyses of the current events in the Middle East, and even a group of Israeli activists who are standing by and supporting Palestinian farmers – including against Jewish settlers. The articles are by Julya Rabinowich, Ben Segenreich, Doron Rabinovici, Peter Frey, Friedrich Orter, Danny Leder, Joana Radzyner, Barbara Staudinger, and Alexia Weiss, among others.

The latest issue from the Falter publishing house spans 128 pages and is available from the Falter shop priced at €19.90.
